Our Pre-Professional Summer Intensive offers dedicated dancers an exceptional opportunity to elevate their ballet training in a focused, inspiring environment. This program is ideal for students seeking continued growth, those who were unable to attend another intensive, or dancers desiring a refined two-week experience in beautiful Southern California.

Participants receive five hours of training each weekday (four hours per day for those attending one week), ensuring a rigorous and enriching experience. The comprehensive curriculum includes ballet technique, pointe, variations, contemporary, conditioning, and professional seminars. Dancers enrolled in the full two-week program will also study repertoire and perform in a culminating student showcase, celebrating their growth and accomplishments.

With a distinguished seventeen-year career at Ballet West—as a dancer, teacher, Director of Ballet West II, and coordinator of professional development for the Trainee Division—Mr. Sellars thoughtfully designs the curriculum and schedule to mirror the highest standards of pre-professional training.
